23red were tasked with turning an empty 400 sq m plot in the concessions area at the British GP into an exciting F1 experience, which engaged race-goers in Santander’s ownership of Abbey.
In true 23red style we attacked the project with vigor, creating a stand which was divided into various different zones including; Giant Scalextric [...]

Santander F1 Experience at British Grand Prix
See things before you do
You may have noticed this beautifully crafted Audi advert around London. The bold typographic headline integrates the ‘common language’ of road signage to really engage the viewer. This approach combined with simplistic art direction sets it apart from standard car advertising.
Somers Town

Ratsmagic: a beguiling surrealist fairytale
I was lucky enough to be reunited recently with a literary relic from my childhood that I’d been hunting for years and wanted to share. Ratsmagic is a beautiful story that is not only bewitching and spellbinding but also surreal, sombre and in parts desolate. It is a timeless fairytale in the style of Brothers [...]

A wonderfully pointless use of pixilation animation…
One of the highlights of my recent youtube surfing sessions – sorry, uni finals revision sessions – was stumbling upon this short film. Written and starring a pair of debut film makers, the five minute plot involves a couple of friends having a falling out which leads to a protracted chase around their hometown. Doesn’t [...]
Found in Wales
I recently visited Hay-on-Wye in Wales and wandered into one of the small art galleries. They had a showcase about the local Jazz festival and these stunning painting by Steve Walder really caught my eye.
His vibrant lines and use of space hints at the evocative and emotional aspect of the musical talents he interprets.
