At the end of May the 23red MARTINI Racing team were out in Monaco organising a hospitality and PR event during the Grand Prix weekend.
40 trade, VIP and media guests from 5 different markets, including Russia, the UK, Spain, Greece and Lithuania, attended the MARTINI Racing Monaco programme from the 22nd – 25thMay. Media attended from outlets including OK, Tatler and Vanity Fair.
The aim of the event was to engage directly with key trade and press audiences through event programme, enabling product rediscovery and brand reappraisal, and to push visibility through advertising, signage and PR.
A mixture of hard work, blazing sunshine and a win from Jensen Button combined to ensure the event was great fun and a great success, with highlights including:
- A MARTINI sponsored fashion show, in aid of Elton John AIDS Foundation with modeling done by the F1 drivers, including Hamilton and Button and celebrity guests such as Liz Hurley and Prince Albert
- Guests watching the GP on the luxurious MARTINI super yacht
- The best party on the harbour on Saturday night on the MARTINI yacht (although i may be biased!) complete with grid girls
- MARTINI grid girls bringing glamour to the grid on Saturday and Sunday
- A guest appearance by new MARTINI girl Jessiqa Pace – who almost stopped traffic (always a problem at a GP!) with her image on the largest billboard on the track side. See the video above to find out what David Coulthard thought…
A couple of recovery MARTINI’s later the team were pleased to say the event had gone down a storm - 2009’s Monaco GP was the perfect showcase for the brand’s values of glamour and gioia di vivere, with extensive PR coverage and excellent guest feedback standing as testament to this.
Here’s to next year!
